St.Gerard's Parish God is Good ... All the Time!

The Stewardship Committee is planning a second annual renewal for our parish. The renewal is meant to provide the following opportunities:

- stewardship formation,

- community building,

- ministry leaders and members meeting new people and telling them about your particular service to the parish and beyond.

Our theme this year is a poem attributed to St.Teresa of Avila

Christ has no body now on earth, but yours.

No hands but yours, no feet but yours.

Yours are the eyes through which the compassion of Christ must look out on the world.

Yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good.

Yours are the hands with which He is to bless His people.

We hope we are all making the shift from Stewardship as Time, Talent, and Treasure, to Stewardship as a calling to be Christ in this world. To further this idea, we will be decorating the church with cut outs of parishioner’s hands.

Every ministry is invited to have representation at all events. The ”person to person ask” is still the best way to bring new faces and new life into our ministries.

Hospitality is already provided after Sunday masses, and there will be snacks served after the Saturday mass.
